Athena (Theñ Theñ)

She has a big name that suits her well. This chubby girl has been through many years of abuse or there is a possibility she was used for dog fighting. Despite her scars, she is still quite a beautiful red head. I found her on a hot summer day crossing four lanes of highway. I knew she was a lucky girl and took her home. We have a normal procedure for each animal we find. We look through Facebook posts, call local veterinarians, check for a microchip, and check newspaper ads. Athena was not wanted. She is now very loved and has proven to be an exceptional therapy dog! She is registered and takes her job seriously! When she’s not working, Athena spends her time lazying about our home.
