In Memoriam as of February 2019: Our inspiration. This handsome older gentleman is a retired racer. He was very fast in his young age but never very good at following directions. According to his race record, Cooper would hear his name from the crowd and steer that way in hopes of getting pets from the loud strangers. There was one race where the gate opened, all the dogs took off, and Cooper tipped over as if completely frozen. He may not have been very good at conforming but we think he’s pretty smart! My husband adopted him when he was just two years old. He is our pride and joy. He teaches all the new dogs how to behave properly and mind their manners. He is one-of-a-kind, an ambassador for canines, a wonderful friend, and an angel in disguise.
