Now, this little corgi mix rescued us. We didn’t have to go looking for him, he found his way to our home when we lived in the DFW. We named him Einstein because he was smart enough to come to our house. The day he hopped into our garage, our larger dogs ran over to him as if he were an unlucky bunny rabbit! Thankfully, he was just a small puppy and our pack accepted him immediately. We have a normal procedure for each animal we find. We look through Facebook posts, call local veterinarians, check for a microchip, and check newspaper ads. Einstein was not wanted. We feel blessed to have him in our life! He thinks he is the police officer of our pack and does his best to ensure that everyone behaves properly. He is a service dog in training and will someday be a teacher for future service dogs.
