This sweet little girl is older than she looks. She was a part of a pack that roamed our neighborhood. From what we understood, she didn’t belong to anyone. She didn’t have a collar or microchip and she started coming over to our house for protection from the elements. Over time, we realized that her other pack members weren’t joining her anymore and she was alone. Rosa started losing weight and slept under our house for a while until we decided to bring her in and make her a part of our pack. We have a normal procedure for each animal we find. We look through Facebook posts, call local veterinarians, check for a microchip, and check newspaper ads. Rosa was not wanted. She is much happier sleeping on our couch than she ever was as a neighborhood runt! She enjoys the finer things in life like foam mattresses and leftovers. Rosa retired nicely and we give her all the love we can spare.
